Loop Through Your Anchor Point
Pass one end of the strap through a rack loop, frame point, or any solid anchor on your bike, van, or trailer. The flat profile threads easily through tight spaces where a bulky hook won't fit.
Click The Quick-Release Buckle
Bring the two strap sections together and clip the buckle. It clicks firmly into place. The ROK™ quick-release buckle is engineered to be stronger than the strap itself, you'll hear and feel when it's properly seated.
Pull to Tension and Go
Slide the adjustment to your required tension. The elastic section applies consistent, even pressure throughout the journey, the load won't shift, and you won't need to re-check it at every stop. To release, simply press the buckle tab.

The flat profile grips your load evenly across its width, preventing rolling and shifting. Round bungee cord contacts the load on a single line, enough for it to pivot, slip, or roll free.
100% Natural Rubber Core
Solid-core natural rubber provides superior elasticity and tear resistance compared to the hollow or synthetic rubber used in most bungee cords. It doesn't go brittle with age, UV exposure, or cold.
Minimal Recoil

Care and Maintenance

ROKStraps are built to last for years, a small amount of care keeps them performing at their best and helps you spot signs of wear before they become a problem.

After Every Trip
Remove any mud, grit, or road debris by rinsing with clean water and leaving to air dry. Avoid storing wet, damp conditions can degrade the outer braid over time.
Check Before Use
Inspect the elastic section for any cuts, fraying, or significant thinning. Check the outer braid for wear through to the rubber core. Examine buckle teeth and hook coatings for cracks or chips.
Storage
Store away from direct sunlight when not in use. Prolonged UV exposure will eventually degrade the outer braid, even on UV-resistant straps. A dry bag or toolkit pouch is ideal for motorbike use.
When To Replace
Replace a strap if the elastic section shows permanent deformation (it no longer returns to its resting length), if the outer braid is worn through, or if a hook coating has cracked and exposed bare metal.

How much weight can ROKStraps hold?

The Motorcycle / ATV Stretch Strap holds up to 45 kg (100 lb). The Commuter Stretch Strap is rated for lighter loads up to 18 kg (40 lb). The Heavy Duty Cargo Strap and Adjustable Strap are designed for heavier, bulkier loads. All ROKStraps comply with British Standard AU258:1995, which covers strength and durability requirements for cargo straps.

Will ROKStraps scratch my motorcycle or bicycle?

No. The hookless straps have no metal components whatsoever, the loop-through system means only the woven polyester braid contacts your vehicle. On hooked straps, the ROK™ double-shank steel hooks are fully coated in protective plastic with smoothed, rounded ends. There are no sharp edges on any ROKStraps product. The flat profile also prevents the strap from digging into soft surfaces or leaving pressure marks the way a round bungee cord can.

Which strap should I use for my motorcycle?

For most motorcycle applications, securing panniers, tail bags, rucksacks, or camping gear to a rack, the Motorcycle / ATV Stretch Strap is the right choice. It extends to 1,500mm, holds up to 45 kg, and fits the vast majority of rack and frame configurations. For lighter everyday loads like a laptop bag or helmet, the smaller Commuter Stretch Strap is more compact and easier to tuck away. For unusually large or heavy loads, the Adjustable Strap gives you up to 4.5m of reach.

Can I use ROKStraps on a van, truck or trailer?

What does British Standard AU258: 1995 mean?

British Standard AU258:1995 is the UK standard for elasticated cargo straps, covering requirements for strength, elasticity, durability, and safety of fastening hardware. Compliance is independently assessed and gives assurance that the product meets defined performance benchmarks. Not all cargo straps sold in the UK meet this standard, it's one of the key things that distinguishes ROKStraps from cheaper alternatives.
